Personal

I'm blessed to be the husband of a beautiful, creative and passionate wife. We share three amazing children who have high hopes and strong academic foundations. Life, therefore, is an adventure unfolding daily to reveal new truths and mysteries. Though quite imperfect ourselves, Carol and I have been enormously enriched by choosing to swallow fear and invest in our children's education, imagination, and worldview as a top priority. We do the same for each other as husband and wife. More light and beauty exists in the world than darkness and ugliness, but you must actively and fearlessly seek it out. The resources to do so tend to follow these brave decisions. Because we've seen the fruit of this repeatedly, we continue to invest in ourselves and each other - pushing past perceived limitations. We have traveled together by plane, train, automobile, bus, and countless footsteps - learning language, experiencing culture, and embracing the people we find. Now, our children are beginning to explore university choices in the United States and the United Kingdom, while Carol and I ponder an empty nest.

Professional

My own father was and is rather fearless. I originally entered computer programming in 1995 as a result of his innovation before pursuing my own innovations. Software engineering remains a passion and still lies at the core of my productivity, though manifested differently in 2025 via conversational AI coding agents and a modernized Agile framework that governs them. I keep my technical skills razor sharp to ensure a quality delivery and to inspire younger innovators to give - and get - their personal best, mindful of the enormous change they face. I enjoy the creative and learning process immensely and have come to adore the teaching process as well - at least for those who have a teachable spirit and are equally eager to grow and gain without limitation according to their own merits. I've experienced failure. I've experienced success. I've learned from both. I continue to accept and manage risk in tech entrepreneurship because of its impact. By choosing to participate in human innovation with an open heart and mind, I meet and learn from amazing people around the world.

AI TRANSFORMATION

After 30 years bridging the gap between business innovators and the technical teams who bring ideas to life, I provide personal, executive-level mentorship — developing one person at a time into a genuine product owner who can see, and actually build, what AI now makes possible for the company.

BUILD Framework for AI Transformation

What Leaders Are Facing Right Now

Every industry is being reshaped by AI. The question isn't whether to adapt — it's how fast you can close the gap between where you are and where your customers already expect you to be.

Old Reality AI Opportunity
Your product lives at an outsourced shop or was built by people who've moved on. Real ownership means developing someone internal who can lead what comes next.
Your product has static forms, rigid workflows, and click-heavy dashboards. Users now expect intent-driven, conversational interfaces — and they experience them everywhere else they work.
Legacy systems are brittle and the original developers are gone. AI migrates legacy code, fixes bugs, and patches vulnerabilities — with your person at the helm.
You tried Lovable, Base44, Cursor, or Claude Code and built exciting prototypes — then hit a wall. The gap from "vibe coding" to viable, production-grade software requires architectural perspective, not just another tool.
Years of missing documentation leave teams guessing. AI backfills documentation overnight — complex systems, regulatory requirements, institutional knowledge.
Company knowledge is scattered across documents, databases, emails, code repositories, and meeting transcripts — trapped in silos that don't talk to each other. AI connects to multiple data sources simultaneously, breaking down silos so your team can ask questions across everything the company knows.
Customers navigate complex APIs and dashboards to get to their data. Conversational AI agents let customers ask questions naturally while the technical complexity is handled behind the scenes.
Customers find you through search engines and websites. Customers ask AI for answers directly. Your visibility depends on being the source AI trusts.
Go-to-market relies on broad outreach and guesswork. AI identifies ideal customers and personalizes outreach using data-driven ICPs — at scale.
Content creation is slow and manual — proposals, presentations, training materials. AI generates new content from existing company knowledge in minutes, not weeks.
AI feels like a side project or a buzzword, not part of how work gets done. An AI-first culture where every employee thinks about how AI might solve their problem before beginning their work — then goes home on time.

The BUILD Philosophy

Lasting transformation never starts with technology. It starts with empowered people. I provide personal, executive-level mentorship — developing one person at a time into a genuine product owner who can see, and actually build, what AI now makes possible for the company. I don't build for you and walk away. I mentor your person so they can build it themselves — and keep building long after the engagement ends.

Pillar Core Idea Why it matters to an SME
Believe in your people Your people already understand the pain-points and should be trusted to fix them with AI. You avoid costly discovery work and keep domain expertise in-house.
Upskill through teaching AI adoption succeeds when an experienced guide mentors your person through hands-on practice — not a course, not a workshop. Mentorship builds a self-propagating learning culture instead of a one-off training event.
Implement practical solutions Focus on quick wins: modernize legacy code, auto-generate docs, improve go-to-market outreach, etc.. Tangible early ROI keeps leadership bought-in and funds the next wave of projects.
Live balanced lives Increased productivity should translate into more time for what matters most. Reduced burnout is critical for companies that can't afford turnover.
Develop lasting autonomy The goal is an internal product owner — a person who stays, owns the IP, and leads the future evolution. Protects you from vendor lock-in and consulting bills.
